SLV Group Promo

SLV Group Promo Video is an animation created for a manufacturer of building scaffolding. The animation presents each stage of production in an abstract form. Casting of metal pipes, galvanizing, welding, quenching and drying are shown in sequence. The separate elements gradually join and form the body of the company logotype. The scenario was based on direct observation of the production process at the company headquarters. The film was made with three-dimensional modelling and rendering software, and was shown at company presentations and construction fairs.

Chick Coin

Chick Coin is an animated advertisement made for a part-time job matching platform for students in Taiwan. The film runs for forty seconds in full high definition at twenty-four frames per second. Two brand characters see the financial difficulties of students shown on a television screen. A magic coin slot then carries the characters into a carefree and cheerful world, and the real world changes as well. The animation combines hand drawing with digital illustration and compositing software. The humorous plot and the visual effects aim to link the brand with young viewers.

Pop Up Magazine

The project was a journey to explore the Escape issues (theme for 2019) abstractly and fluidly, showing the changes, new things and consequences from that. All the visuals are clean and comfortable to watch, contrasting with the uncomfortable reality from the act of escape. The design is constantly changing and the morphing shapes in the animation represent the act of readaptation, caused by some sort of situation. Escape has different meanings, interpretations and the point of view varies from playful to serious.

Poznan Marathon Medal

Poznan Marathon Medal is a promotional animation created to present the medal of the twentieth PKO Poznan Marathon. The animation shows small elements joining together to form the medal, and each element symbolizes one year of the marathon history. The medal lanyard is printed with historical photographs from all editions of the event, arranged in chronological order. The medal measures 80 by 80 by 7 millimetres and is cast in steel and silver. The animation was produced in 4K resolution to encourage registration for the anniversary race.

Macau Light Festival 2019 TVC

Macau Light Festival 2019 TVC is a television commercial created to promote the Macao Light Festival. The film follows Mak Mak, the Macao tourism mascot, as local and visiting spectators explore four lighting routes and the changing cityscape of Macao. The commercial combines live action shooting, visual effects, motion graphics and three-dimensional animation. Local features are shown as installation art. The festival is presented as a giant birthday cake, marking the twentieth anniversary of the Macao Special Administrative Region.

Macau Light Festival 2018 TVC

Macau Light Festival 2018 TVC is a television commercial created to promote a city light festival. The commercial presents the festival as a time tunnel. A first person view guides the viewer through lighting installations, three-dimensional projection mapping and interactive games. Local elements of gastronomy, architecture, culture and creativity are shown as installation art within the animation. All shots were planned in a storyboard and tested as a demo motion in three-dimensional software before filming. Live action footage, visual effects and motion graphics are combined.
