Nunn Bush

The project was made to show all the features of the product in a fun way by being informative but without being annoying. The purpose was to show the construction of the shoe. The inspiration came through the research about elements that could represent the product, like nature with all the colors and moods. The shoe was modeled using photographs as a reference and hard surface 3D modeling techniques. For modeling, designers used the software C4D. All the textures were made using leather texture and some photoshop brushes. Vray was used for rendering and Houdini for Simulations.

Sea of Ink

Sea of Ink is an animated short, which is about a story that an artist is struggling with the creative block about the art journey under the sea. This animation portrayed an artist’s creative dilemma and demonstrated a process of breaking through via self discovery. The short artistically discussed emotional exploration during an artwork creation phase. The animation combined a variety of techniques, such as 2D, 3D and live-action photo shooting. The director of the film leveraged the 3D hand-drawn watercolor ink as the artistic style of the film.

Moose Piss

The project was elaborated to promote Moose Piss beer, created through the collaboration of Hermoso Compadre and Nordic brewery. The purpose of the animation was to tell a playful story of how the beer was supposedly created. A modern style of illustration was used, with strong colors that emphasize the humorous purpose of the work. It was done using the traditional frame-by-frame technique, to give more life and personality to the characters.

Eggshell Montage

For each of these pieces in this video montage, designer focused on the ambience of the scenes. He wished to create a sense of "flowing", like "running water" in the river, by looping the movement of the objects in a fluent way and built an atmosphere which the audience could immerse their emotions in. For most of the pieces, designer made the shot very wide. Most of the objects were very small and far. Designer wished the audience could have the feeling that they were standing right inside the scene when they were watching it.

trivago

The colorful animation is a part of new animated campaign for Trivago. The idea is simplistic, to zoom from space to Spain and along the way show how many hotels were available to Trivago users. Different styles of architecture compliment each region of Spain.The spot then changed at street level - on a colorful street in Tenerife with peach and pink buildings. Models together with cheerful, vivid color palette create the atmosphere of warmth and carefree summer time. The design was inspired by beautiful kids toys and tries to follow new trends in 3D design.
