A short stop motion animation about the rivalry between two father-son duos on who is the better fishing. Proving things may not always end the way they seem. The team was given the theme of fishing and thus had to weave a story from it. The basic idea of the plot was to create something which someone can watch and have some laughs. The story was written, scripted and storyboards were made. Set and characters were then created within the span of a week and a half by all the team members, guided by a faculty member.
Through capturing imagery of floating lights on street after midnight when the busy city was calming down, this video animation aspires to evoke a nostalgic sensibility for Macao, a tranquil peninsula in southern China near Hong Kong. As a reflection and questioning to the prosperous economic development in a city well-known for tourism industry, this work provokes the audiences into the search of the deeper meaning of life and happiness.
The colorful animation is a part of new animated campaign for Trivago. The idea is simplistic, to zoom from space to Spain and along the way show how many hotels were available to Trivago users. Different styles of architecture compliment each region of Spain. The spot then changed at street level - on a colorful street in Tenerife with peach and pink buildings. Models together with cheerful, vivid color palette create the atmosphere of warmth and carefree summer time. The design was inspired by beautiful kids toys and tries to follow new trends in 3D design.
Revolving around the concept of time, the Festival will weave up local elements of gastronomy, humanity, architecture, culture, creativity and other realms. The event will not only manifest the city’s East-meets-West cultures, but also portray nostalgic stories and childhood memories of Macao people, leading spectators onto a glittery journey across time and space in Macao.
The idea of the medal animation was the 20th anniversary of the Poznań Marathon. The small elements and particles that make up the medal symbolize each year of the marathon and each runner. The medal's lanyard is printed with historical photos from all Poznan marathon editions arranged in chronological order and has a quote "I left footprint in Poznan". The reverse of the medal is dedicated to Maciej Frankiewicz, the president of the City of Poznan, who is the creator and patron of the Poznan Marathon.
The project was a journey to explore the Escape issues (theme for 2019) abstractly and fluidly, showing the changes, new things and consequences from that. All the visuals are clean and comfortable to watch, contrasting with the uncomfortable reality from the act of escape. The design is constantly changing and the morphing shapes in the animation represent the act of readaptation, caused by some sort of situation. Escape has different meanings, interpretations and the point of view varies from playful to serious.
